For example, when we use 110, 230, or 355 wires, we mean TPI (threads per inch), that is, the number of wires per inch (don't confuse it with DPI. Some processes require adding CPE LPI, PPI, etc. in a certain proportion). Some printers can get good coverage with 230 thread plates, while some printers may get square patterns through circular holes. Remember, although the number of wires is the same (all the reasons why 230 wires affect the mechanical measurement of the pressure tester), there are still differences between wires

But at present, this method is more general, that is, the wire is marked by the number of wires (TPI) and the diameter of wires (microns), such as 110/37230/45355/33 and 355/35; The former data shows the mesh number (TPI), and the latter data is the diameter and thickness of the line (expressed in microns)

the thickness (thickness) of the wire is very important for the correct selection of the wire. The thicker silk hole is smaller, and the ink has poor trafficability, but higher tensile strength can be obtained. When using high-strength wire tension, pay attention to the recommended strength; This is to ensure that the wire is stretched to obtain a thinner thickness, and the hole is opened for the ink to pass through. According to my experience, the tensile strength of high-strength silk should reach 30 Newton

the selection of silk is relatively simple, which can be carried out according to the following instructions:

* if you want to get a thicker ink layer thickness, you can choose thick silk (at least 60/86)

* if you want the silk to feel soft and the ink coverage is low, you can use thick and thin silk (the maximum limit is 260/305)

* for CMYK plus spot color printing, 305 mesh (line) silk is recommended

* for white shirt cartoon printing, 230 thread silk effect is good

* for thick background printing, 85/156 silk can be selected according to different fineness requirements

* for halftone fine background color, 180/200 thread can be used

* for Topcolor or touch plate printing, 230/305 silk can be used
