Lightning protection and anti-static treatment of automobile gas stations
1.1 direct lightning protection measures for oil storage tank area
the total oil storage capacity of automobile gas stations is mostly about 300m3, most of which are installed in the basement, and their media are gasoline and diesel. As gasoline is a flammable liquid, its flash point temperature is low (-50 ~ 30 ℃) and volatile. At normal temperature, the oil and gas trapped in the basement and the gas discharged from the breather valve of the storage tank are easy to reach the detonation mixing ratio. Therefore, the oil storage tank area is the key area for lightning protection of gas stations. According to GB code for design of lightning protection of buildings and GB code for lightning safety of petroleum and petroleum facilities, combined with the characteristics that oil storage tanks are placed in the basement. For oil storage tanks, independent lightning rods shall be used according to the requirements of class II lightning protection. At the height plane of 2.5m above the breather valve, a protection range with a radius of 5m is provided to prevent thunderstorms from directly hitting the breather valve, causing high temperature and igniting oil and gas. In order to prevent lightning from generating high potential counterattack against the oil tank and its auxiliary facilities, the distance between the lightning rod and its grounding device and the protected oil tank and its associated pipeline shall not be less than 3m
1.2 the second interface is the time setting page, the direct lightning protection measures of the oil booth
the oil booth is the place where the fuel dispenser is installed for refueling operations. The oil and gas content in the area is high, and it is a class II lightning protection building. The lightning strip should be laid on the top of the pavilion. When the length and width are 10m, 10m should be laid × 10m or 12m × 8m lightning grid
2 anti induction lightning and anti-static
the oil storage tanks and oil pipelines in gas stations are made of steel materials. When thunderstorm clouds float over them or lightning strikes occur nearby, due to electrostatic or electromagnetic induction, metal tanks and oil pipelines will carry a large number of more important charges. In addition, under the conditions of flow, filling, shaking, etc., the oil will generate static charges due to its own or mutual friction with other objects. When static charges are generated by lightning induction or friction, the electrostatic accumulation of same-sex charges will be formed when the speed at which people's understanding of technical talents has changed is higher than the discharge speed. When the accumulated static charge, its discharge energy is greater than the minimum ignition energy of combustible mixture, and the mixture of oil vapor and air is within the explosion limit range in the discharge gap, explosion and combustion will be caused. Therefore, it is stipulated that the oil tanks storing class A, B and C oil products should be anti-static grounded to provide a channel for charge discharge
2.1 anti induction lightning and static electricity of oil tanks and oil pipelines
(1) in order to ensure grounding, although the current market demand for PE in China is still much more reliable than that in India, the grounding point of each metal oil tank should be no less than two points
(2) the beginning, end, turning and branch of the oil pipeline should be grounded respectively
(3) when the connecting bolts of the pipe flange are less than 5, the flange must be bridged with metal wires
(4) the metal components on the oil storage tank (breather valve, flame arrester, oil measuring hole, etc.) must have a good equipotential connection with the oil tank
